Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Project Control Manager to lead the Master Schedule for a complex modernization initiative within the PMO. You will own IMS governance, develop schedule baselines, and provide executive reporting to ensure on-time delivery.

As an Individual Contributor, you will collaborate with PMs, vendors, and client staff to align schedules with project objectives, manage risks, and drive schedule recovery when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7-10 years of project controls/PMO/scheduling experience.
• Ability to communicate with clients and consultants.
• Knowledge of state and local governments.
• 5+ years developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and govern the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all project workstreams.
• Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with scope and deliverables.
• Consolidate schedules from multiple teams into a unified program schedule.
• Identify and manage task, milestone, resource, and dependency relationships.
• Perform critical path analysis and schedule forecasting.
• Establish schedule baselines and governance processes.
• Monitor performance against schedule, scope, and budget baselines.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and project controls metrics.
• Manage risks, issues, changes, and scope controls.
