Qualifications

• Master’s in Education or Education related field.
• Teaching License required.
• Certification in Special Education preferred.
• Alternate Licensing Plan considered.
• Three or more years of classroom teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized lesson plans aligned to goals.
• Consider developmental levels and needs.
• Maintain accurate records via data collection.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and model practices.
• Use evidence-based strategies to support development.
• Incorporate best practices and adaptive curricula.
• Provide ongoing reinforcement and progress monitoring.
• Complete annual ESA training and licensing requirements.
• Attend staff meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Implement behavior supports and individual plans as needed.
• Plan classroom routines and supervise duties.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Support professional growth with the Director.
• Develop goals for each student and participate in planning.
