Job summary

UF Health seeks a Clinical Quality Nurse Leader to provide unit-based leadership as a masters-prepared RN. The role supports clinical and analytical activities within a multidisciplinary team focused on patient/family experience, quality outcomes, and nurse satisfaction.

The position promotes integration of nursing science into practice and advocates for reforms in unit delivery to translate best practices into action and improved outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing is required.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Florida.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS by 07/01/2019 for specified departments.
• NRP by 07/01/2019 across designated units.
• STABLE by 07/01/2019 for designated units.
• A professional certification must be obtained within two years of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and analytical leadership as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead unit-based activities to drive excellence in nursing research, education and practice.
• Integrate nursing science into practice and advocate for reforms in unit healthcare delivery.
