Job summary

Samaritas, a Michigan-based human services organization, seeks a Master’s Clinician (SUD) to deliver person-centered clinical services within addiction and mental health care. Roles include therapy, care coordination, and community engagement to support recovery.

Openings welcome both fully licensed and limited-licensed clinicians with weekday hours; full-time or part-time options depending on licensure. The clinic operates in the Warren area, no hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Fully licensed clinicians preferred.
• Limited license candidates may work 12–28 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans with family involvement when appropriate
• Provide individual and family therapy as well as case management support
• Coordinate care with families and external stakeholders such as schools, probation, medical providers, and community partners
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including service plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Monitor treatment quality and assess effectiveness in achieving client goals
• Conduct community outreach, networking, and marketing to build referral sources and partnerships
• Represent Samaritas mission and values with professionalism and integrity
• Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and organizational trainings
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements
