Samaritas in West Michigan is hiring a Master’s-level Substance Use Disorder Clinician to provide person-centered therapy and care coordination for individuals and families navigating addiction and mental health challenges. This full-time, in-office role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care within a mission-driven organization.

You will develop treatment plans, conduct individual and family therapy, coordinate with schools and medical providers, document progress, and stay current

Formación

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling required.
• Fully licensed clinicians preferred; limited license considered.
• Minimum one year of SUD counseling experience preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience with substance use populations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans with family involvement when appropriate.
• Provide individual and family therapy and case management support.
• Coordinate care with families and external stakeholders (schools, probation, medical providers, community partners).
• Maintain timely clinical documentation: service plans, progress notes, discharge summaries.
• Monitor treatment quality and assess progress toward client goals.
• Conduct community outreach to build referral sources and partnerships.
• Represent Samaritas’ mission and values with professionalism and integrity.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and trainings.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
