Job summary

Samaritas, a Michigan-based human services organization, is seeking a Master’s Clinician specializing in Substance Use Disorder for a full-time, in-office role in West Michigan. The position offers a starting wage of $57,200 annually, with responsibilities spanning therapy, care coordination, and community engagement to support addiction recovery and mental health wellbeing.

Fully licensed clinicians are preferred; limited license candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Fully licensed clinicians preferred; limited license candidates will be considered.
• Minimum one year of SUD counseling experience preferred, with two years of clinical experience in SUD populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans, including family involvement when appropriate.
• Provide individual and family therapy as well as case management support.
• Coordinate care with families and external stakeholders such as schools, probation, medical providers, and community partners.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including service plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Monitor treatment quality and assess effectiveness in achieving client goals.
• Conduct community outreach, networking, and marketing to build referral sources and partnerships.
