Job summary

Samaritas is seeking a Master’s-level Substance Use Disorder Clinician to deliver jail-based behavioral health and addiction treatment within the Eaton County Jail and the Charlotte outpatient clinic.

This full-time, hybrid role requires providing assessments, individual counseling, and group therapy, while coordinating with correctional staff and community partners to support transition and ongoing recovery after release.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Fully licensed clinicians preferred; limited license candidates will be considered.
• Minimum one year of SUD counseling experience; two years of clinical experience with substance use populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver jail-based behavioral health and substance use treatment within the Eaton County Jail and Charlotte clinic.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual counseling and facilitate therapeutic groups for justice-involved individuals.
• Support crisis intervention and stabilization within the correctional environment.
• Maintain outpatient clinic caseload to support continuity of care and recovery.
