Samaritas in Michigan is seeking a Master’s-level Substance Use Disorder Clinician for the Eaton County Jail-based program, delivering person-centered behavioral health and addiction treatment within the jail and at the Charlotte outpatient clinic.

Fully licensed clinicians are preferred; limited license candidates will be considered. A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field is required, with emphasis on SUD counseling and ongoing professional growth.

Responsabilités

• Deliver jail-based behavioral health and substance use treatment within Eaton County Jail.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual counseling and facilitate therapeutic groups for justice-involved individuals.
• Support crisis intervention and stabilization within the jail setting.
• Maintain outpatient caseload to promote continuity of care and recovery.
• Assist clients with transition and reintegration into the community.
