Job summary

Pinterest is seeking Data Science interns for a 12-week program in the US, including Seattle. You will apply quantitative methods, work with engineers, product managers, and researchers to uncover opportunities and shape product direction.

Interns may work remotely or in hybrid settings, with start dates in May or June 2027. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Master’s in a quantitative field, proficient in SQL and Python or R, and able to communicate complex findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong ability to manipulate large data sets and extract insights.
• Experience with ML, statistics, forecasting, econometrics or related areas.
• Excellent communication to explain findings to technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product roadmap using data and exploratory analysis.
• Design and implement core metrics for evaluating experiments.
• Develop and validate AI/ML-driven insights to inform product decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, designers, and researchers.
