Job summary

Pinterest is seeking Data Science interns to help evolve our product by turning data into actionable insights and measuring value for advertisers and users. You will analyze user behavior, identify opportunities, and contribute to our experimentation platform.

Internships are 12 weeks paid with fixed start dates in May or June, and you will work cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, designers, and researchers to shape the next Pinterest experiences.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, applied sciences, computer science or related field.
• Experience solving analytical problems with quantitative methods (ML, forecasting, econometrics, etc.).
• Excellent communication and ability to explain learnings to technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Apply quantitative analysis, modeling, and data mining with cross-functional partners.
• Influence product roadmap and identify actionable opportunities from data.
• Design and evaluate A/B experiments and core metrics.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to build new experiences.
