Job summary

Mpp in Falls Creek, PA is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and optimize the master production schedule for a powder metal facility across multiple shifts. You will coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Tooling, Maintenance, and Production to balance demand, capacity, and material availability.

The role emphasizes reducing changeovers, maximizing throughput, and maintaining on-time delivery while supporting continuous improvement in flow, lead times, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years production scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning and bottleneck management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to analyze data and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication across production and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for presses, furnaces, and secondary operations.
• Align schedules with customer demand forecasts and firm orders.
• Monitor WIP flow across processes and optimize sequencing to reduce changes.
• Identify capacity constraints and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate raw material and powder availability with Purchasing.
• Track schedule adherence and report KPIs (OTD, schedule attainment).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for flow, lead time, and inventory control.
• Participate in meetings to discuss progress and issues.
