Job summary

Valmont Industries in Tulsa seeks a Production Planner to coordinate and review all activities related to production planning and scheduling to meet customer requirements and site objectives. The role focuses on on-time shipments and maintaining daily schedules across operations.

You will collaborate with the S&OP team, develop master production schedules, monitor backlog, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes while managing budgets and inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years relevant experience, or Associates with 5 years relevant experience, or 7 years relevant experience.
• Preferred: APICS certification and lean manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develops the master production schedule, long-range material requirements plan and capacity plan.
• Collaborates with S&OP team in scheduling customer orders and monitors backlog.
• Directs scheduling, shop floor and shipping schedules; ensures on-time shipments.
• Identify and dispose of excess inventory and monitor cost performance.
