Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Lihue, Hawaii is hiring a Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair a wide range of newer vehicles across brands. You will perform standard and complex repairs, including warranty work, with minimal supervision to keep our fleet safe and ready for customers.

You will apply your ASE certifications and strong mechanical knowledge to improve reliability and customer experience. The role offers an hourly wage of $38.00, an up to $3,500 retention bonus, on-the-job training,

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 3 years professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum 3), with ability to acquire 2 more within first year.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of makes and models.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians to support shop performance.
