Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Master Mechanic in Sandston, VA. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing vehicles across brands with minimal supervision, including warranty work.

You will work on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles and may mentor fellow technicians to improve shop performance. Applicants should have at least 3 years of professional auto repair experience, 3 ASE certifications minimum, and the ability to gain 2 more within the first year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3), with ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Strong knowledge across ASE certification areas including engine repair, drivetrains, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and engine performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of makes and models.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, HVAC and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and share best practices to support shop performance.
