Responsibilities

• Commit to the Golden Rule and work with associates to build a strong meat team.
• Maintain high morale with Respectful, Supportive, and Team Oriented (RSTO) style.
• Know various cuts of meat, including special cuts.
• Wrap products in trays, weigh and price cut meat.
• Cut beef, pork, veal, poultry, and lamb to company standards.
• Stock meat case, freezer, and displays neatly.
• Unload meat deliveries and store products properly.
• Keep back room, cooler, freezer, displays organized and clean.
• Rotate products using FIFO and monitor temperatures; report issues.
• Maintain clean working area and sanitary procedures.
• Exercise safe practices on all meat department equipment.
• Perform price changes and signage.
• Notify management of theft or markdowns.
• Complete onboarding/e-learnings within 30 days.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
