Job summary

Roche Bros. Supermarkets is seeking a Meat Department Associate to process, stock and display quality meat and related items with care. You will ensure freshness, proper labeling, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cutting beef, pork, veal, poultry and lamb to company standards, wrapping and pricing, stocking cases, unloading deliveries, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Minimum qualifications apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of all cuts of meat.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to follow instructions and work a schedule based on store needs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Commit to the “Golden Rule” and work with others to build a strong meat team.
• Maintain high associate morale through respectful, supportive teamwork.
• Cut beef, pork, veal, poultry and lamb to company standards.
• Wrap, weigh, and price cut meat.
• Stock meat cases, freezers, and displays neatly.
• Unload deliveries and store products in designated areas.
• Keep back room and displays clean and organized; monitor temperatures and report issues.
• Rotate products using FIFO and ensure safety practices.
• Follow sanitation procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
