Roche Bros. Supermarkets is seeking a Meat Department teammate to process and stock a variety of meat products. You will ensure freshness, proper display, and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires knowledge of meat cuts, ServSafe certification, ability to read and follow instructions, and the flexibility to work store schedules. Safety and sanitation are emphasized throughout daily duties.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of all cuts of meat.
• ServSafe certified.
• Read/write/speak English and follow instructions.
• Ability to work a schedule based on store needs.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Commit to the “Golden Rule” and work with other associates to build a strong meat team.
• Achieve the highest associate morale in the industry by working in a style that is Respectful, Supportive and Totally Team Oriented (RSTO).
• Have knowledge of various cuts of meat, including special cuts.
• Wrap products in trays, weigh and price cut meat.
• Cut beef, pork, veal, poultry, and lamb to company standards.
• Stock meat case, freezer, and other displays neatly.
• Unload meat delivery and store product in designated area.
• Keep back room, cooler, freezer, fans, drains, and display cases organized and clean; monitor temperature and report refrigeration failure.
• Rotate meat products using FIFO (oldest first).
• Keep work area clean, safe and free from hazards; report hazards to management.
• Practice the “Cleaner’s Creed” and proper sanitation procedures.
• Operate meat department equipment safely.
