Job summary

Markent Personnel is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for a global manufacturing client in Michigan. You will ensure reliability of highly automated equipment, conduct preventative maintenance and quickly respond to downtime events to keep production moving.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and PLC robotics familiarity. Competitive wage with shift allowances and comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent with industrial maintenance experience.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance in manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems; PLC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on automated production cells and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and PLC components.
• Repair and replace motors, relays, sensors, drives and other automation components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals for fault diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
• Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
