Job summary

Constellium Van Buren Twp, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 1 to troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing equipment. You’ll perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to support safety, quality and uptime at our automotive structures facility.

You will advance through progressive responsibilities, gain PLC and robotics skills, and participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience with robotics, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and CNC machines required.
• Able to read electrical prints and use CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot and repair routine equipment breakdowns.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs with minimal supervision.
• Complete work orders accurately and timely.
• Support production by responding to equipment failures and assist in installations/ modifications.
