Job summary

JAC Products in Shelby Township, MI is seeking an experienced Master Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 1st shift (6a-2:30p). The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems, plus PLC programming and training junior technicians.

The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial maintenance experience, read technical drawings, and operate a CMMS for parts and maintenance records.

Qualifications

• 10+ years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to use various tools including volt-meter and other necessary equipment.

Responsibilities

Job description

JAC Products is seeking a an experienced Master Maintenance Technician to join our team in Shelby Twp., MI. As a Master Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, performing repairs, ensuring preventive maintenance is completed safely and efficiently and the training and development of Maintenance Technicians.

1st shift 6a-2:30p

Your Contributions:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic equipment.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Responsible for maintaining, setting up and operating machinery equipment including lathe mill, surface grinder, etc.
• Assist with equipment installations and improvement projects.
• Advanced fabrication of parts and equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory for common replaceable items and daily recordkeeping within JAC Products computer maintenance management software (CMMS).
• Train, mentor and support Maintenance Technicians.

What You'll Need:

• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience (preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to use various types of tools including volt-meter and equipment necessary (manual, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic)
• Effective communication and problem solving skills
