Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; journeyman status preferred.
• Extensive machining experience with lathes, mills, grinders and related equipment.
• GD&T knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining is a plus.
• Willingness to work any shift and adapt to varied tool setups.

Responsibilities

• Plan sequence of operations and set up and operate machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Perform machining for construction and repair of machined parts and tooling.
• Use shop floor information systems and drawings to guide work.
• Check own work for conformance to specifications and apply shop math.
• Improvise tooling and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
