Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate manual equipment, including vertical and horizontal lathes, milling machines, and saws.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, instructions, and samples to produce accurate parts.
• Select machines, tooling, and settings, and determine the proper sequence of operations.
• Measure and document dimensions using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and scales.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to meet fabrication requirements.
• Inspect finished work, document defects, and identify equipment needing repair.
• Maintain a safe, clean workstation and support related shop tasks.
