Job Description:

As a Master Machinist, you will be responsible for planning sequences of operations, setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, mills, boring mills, planers, shapers, duplicating machines, and grinders. You will perform machining operations for construction and repair of machined facility parts, tools, developmental and experimental parts, or other related machine work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide product support and technical assistance to internal and external customers.
• Work from Shop Floor Information System, operation instruction sheets, assembly drawings, and bills of material.
• Perform machining operations including fabricating dies, jigs, gauges, fixtures, and maintenance tasks.
• Perform complex machining involving exacting tolerances, selecting appropriate cutting tools, and improvising tooling as needed.
• Ensure work conformance to specifications and maintain a safe, clean working environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Master Machinist journeyman card or minimum of 8 years of machining experience.
