Machinist II

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00/hr (weekly pay)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Duration: 6-month contract to permanent

Job Summary:

Operate CNC, VTL, milling, and lathe machines to manufacture and repair aerospace components. Perform various machining tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED. Machinist technical training or 2-3 years of machining experience (required).

• Experience with CNC, VTL, milling, or lathe equipment (required).

• Aerospace or manufacturing experience (preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and time management.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machining equipment to produce or repair parts per traveler specifications.

• Select machine settings and plan work sequences.

• Inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Participate in training and on-the-job learning.

• Work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.

• Follow all safety, quality, and company policies.
