Job summary

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD in Houston, TX seeks a Master Level Clinician or Licensed Therapist at our Access Center - SW Clinic to deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered care under supervision. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and service authorization to support recovery and safety.

You will perform CBT to reduce symptoms of serious mental illness, provide crisis intervention, and coordinate care with the treatment team, while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required.
• Active LPC-A, LMFT-A or LMSW license in TX.
• Minimum 6 months clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulates the consumer's treatment with needs assessment and plan.
• Monitors progress toward treatment goals and outcomes.
• Performs clinical assessments for eligibility and needs.
• Provides cognitive behavioral therapy focusing on reducing symptoms.
• Assists consumers in gaining access to care and coordinating services.
• Ensures services are medically necessary and compliant with guidelines.
• Meets divisional productivity standards and complies with policies.

Education

Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work
