Job summary
HopeWest Grand Junction is seeking a Groundskeeper for 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. The role focuses on maintaining outdoor spaces with horticultural expertise, supporting campus gardens, and coordinating with volunteers to ensure a welcoming environment for patients, families, staff and visitors. The position requires a Master Gardener certification or ability to obtain within six months and a Colorado driver’s license.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Three years in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance required.
Master Gardener certification is required (or able to obtain within six months).
Valid Colorado driver’s license and adequate automobile insurance are required.
Responsibilities
Maintain outdoor environments through groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, and horticultural practices.
Ensure landscapes and hardscape areas are safe, accessible, and visually welcoming year-round.
Collaborate with volunteers and support campus gardens and landscape stewardship.
Contribute to a well-maintained environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors.
