Job summary

HopeWest Grand Junction is seeking a Groundskeeper for 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. The role focuses on maintaining outdoor spaces with horticultural expertise, supporting campus gardens, and coordinating with volunteers to ensure a welcoming environment for patients, families, staff and visitors. The position requires a Master Gardener certification or ability to obtain within six months and a Colorado driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance required.
• Master Gardener certification is required (or able to obtain within six months).
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and adequate automobile insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor environments through groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, and horticultural practices.
• Ensure landscapes and hardscape areas are safe, accessible, and visually welcoming year-round.
• Collaborate with volunteers and support campus gardens and landscape stewardship.
• Contribute to a well-maintained environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors.
