Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant experience in a grounds/maintenance role.
• High school diploma or greater required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or centralized IT systems to review budgets, staff, time tracking, and work orders.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, and manages grounds maintenance for campus.
• Oversees fertilization, irrigation, mowing, planting, pruning, and landscape care.
• Directs weed-spraying program and chemical applications.
• Operates and maintains the computerized irrigation system.
• Supervises grounds staff and student workers.
• Operates heavy equipment and assists with snow removal.
• Documents work orders and logs hours and materials.
• Leads grounds staff during campus events.
