Job summary

HopeWest is seeking a Groundskeeper in Grand Junction, CO, to maintain outdoor spaces, gardens, and landscapes for patients and visitors. The role runs 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with a strong focus on safety, plant health, and seasonal stewardship.

Requires a High School Diploma, 3 years in gardening, and a Master Gardener certification or ability to obtain within six months; a Colorado driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance required.
• Master Gardener certification required (or ability to obtain within six months).
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and adequate automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance outdoor environments through groundskeeping and landscape maintenance.
• Support campus gardens and collaborate with volunteers to create a welcoming environment for patients, families, staff and visitors.
• Ensure all landscaped areas are safe and visually appealing year-round.
