YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You perform advanced mechanical repairs including oil changes, brake service, tire work, and part replacements
• You serve as a subject matter expert and mentor, providing hands-on training and guidance to junior technicians
• You conduct advanced diagnostics and complete high-cost repairs to minimize outsourced mechanical costs
• You lead daily shop huddles, set production and PDI quotas, and monitor out-of-service vehicles
• You oversee PDI operations, ensuring certification, team performance, and achievement of company targets
• You drive daily shop performance, maintain a clean and safe environment, and report improvement opportunities to the Senior Repair Manager

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• **Education & Experience **You bring at least 6 years of experience as an automotive technician or working shop foreman
• Certifications You possess ASE Certifications (A1–A8): Engine Repair, Transmission/Transaxle, Manual Drivetrain, Suspension & Steering, Brakes, Electrical Systems, Heating & A/C, and Engine Performance
• **Licenses & Authorization **You are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• **Work Hours & Physical Requirements **You work a full-time 40-hour week, are capable of standing for extended periods, lifting heavy parts, and are comfortable with exposure to chemicals used in vehicle maintenance
• Professionalism You lead by example, follow appearance standards, and proactively monitor technician compliance – escalating opportunities for improvement to the Senior Repair Manager
