Job summary

Integral Blue is seeking a Lead Electrical & ITS Field Specialist to act as Master Electrician of Record for Michigan operations in Auburn Hills. You will supervise, install, test, and commission ITS and related electrical systems while mentoring field personnel and coordinating with engineering, project management, and safety teams.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Master Electrician license in good standing.
• Willing to affiliate license with the company's electrical contractor license as required by state law.
• Must reside in Michigan.
• Strong knowledge of Michigan Electrical Code, grounding/bonding, overcurrent protection and backup power systems.
• Experience with traffic signal systems, ITS power infrastructure, and related public electrical work.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable with digital documentation and plan sets.
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to complete OSHA 10 Hour Safety Training and obtain OSHA 10-Card.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to work in confined spaces and at heights up to 100 feet.
• Able to pass drug screen, physical, and background checks.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Compliance Authority: act as Master Electrician of Record under Michigan law.
• Field Installation and Integration: install, test, and commission ITS infrastructure and power systems.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: diagnose and fix field electrical issues and ITS equipment.
• Testing and Quality Verification: perform testing and ensure code conformance.
• Permitting and Inspection Oversight: coordinate permits and inspections with inspectors and clients.
• Field Standards and Quality Control: uphold workmanship standards during site work.
• Preventative Maintenance and Field Service: perform maintenance on ITS equipment and infrastructure.
• Field Operations and Safety: operate vehicles and equipment; support safe work in active transportation environments.
• Technical Leadership and Mentorship: guide field staff and coordinate with engineering and operations.
