Job summary

Walmart is seeking a maintenance electrician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical systems, and lead a team of journeyman and apprentice electricians. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical codes and the ability to coordinate with external contractors.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety compliance across facilities. Experience as a Master Electrician and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in electrical trade (Master-level preferred).
• Licensed Master Electrician in good standing in the state of work.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.
• License in related trade in city/state of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance for safety and functionality.
• Inspect, repair, and document maintenance activities and repairs.
• Lead and mentor Journeyman/Apprentice Electricians and maintenance staff.
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local regulations; coordinate with contractors.
• Manage work orders, schedules, and supplier parts; maintain logs.
