ECS Group of Companies in Baltimore, MD seeks a Code Compliance Project Manager to lead code compliance inspections, plan reviews, and client-facing engagements within our Building Science + Infrastructure team. The role requires leadership of inspection projects and mentoring junior inspectors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review; or 5 years in construction.
• Maryland Master Electrician license required.
• At least one ICC certification: B2, M2, P2, E2, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• If driving for ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage code compliance projects, including reviewing plans, providing technical support, conducting inspections, and attending site meetings.
• Mentor and train other building inspectors.
• Assist with management of P&L, marketing, client interactions, and business development related to code inspections.
