Job summary

Tesim Electric is scaling its Texas data center pipeline and seeks a Master Electrician to lead crews on our most demanding commercial projects in Austin. You will drive electrical execution, code compliance, and quality standards on jobs that influence client retention.

Responsibilities include mentoring Journeymen and Apprentices, coordinating with the PM/Foreman on manpower and materials, and reading drawings and specifications to deliver safe, compliant systems.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Master Electrician license.
• 8+ years of commercial electrical field experience.
• Deep knowledge of NEC and Texas electrical code.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, single-lines, specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor crews.

About the Role

TESIM Electric is scaling to meet Texas' data center pipeline, and we're hiring Master Electricians who can lead crews on our most complex commercial work. You'll be responsible for the electrical execution, code compliance, and quality standard on the jobs that decide whether a GC calls us back.

What You'll Own

• Leading crews on complex commercial electrical installations.
• Ensuring code compliance, quality, and safety on every job you touch.
• Mentoring Journeymen and Apprentices; setting the standard others follow.
• Partnering with the PM and General Foreman on manpower, materials, and schedule.
• Reading and executing from drawings, single-lines, and specifications.
• Troubleshooting, terminations, testing, and system commissioning support.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas Master Electrician license.
• 8+ years of commercial electrical field experience.
• Deep working knowledge of NEC and Texas electrical code.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, single-lines, and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor crews.

Preferred Experience

• Data centers, mission-critical, or industrial electrical work.
• Medium voltage, switchgear, generators, UPS, PDU/busway, grounding.
• OSHA 30.
• Testing, commissioning, or startup experience.

Compensation

$50-$72/hr DOE. This is a top-of-market rate because we hire top-of-market talent.
