Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in New Stanton is seeking a Master Level Diesel Technician to maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks. You’ll work mid-shift Tue-Sat, with state-of-the-art diagnostics and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Repair experience on automotive gas/diesel engines including diagnostics and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Repair complex mechanical/electronic problems with minimal supervision.
• Coach/mentor other technicians and support shop operations.
• Operate shop management systems and diagnostic equipment proficiently.
• Complete OEM online and instructor-led courses as required.
