Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior-level diesel technician experience; master-level strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional diagnostic ability with OEM software and tooling.
  • Deep hands-on experience with multiple Diesel engines and Allison Transmission products.

Responsibilities

  • Advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines.
  • High-level engine and powertrain work involving all makes of Diesel engines.
  • Troubleshooting aftertreatment, electrical, fuel, cooling, and driveline systems.
  • In-frame repairs, major component replacements, and root-cause failure analysis.
  • Serving as a technical resource for the shop.
  • Delivering clean, accurate documentation and professional workmanship every time.

Job Title: Master Diesel Technician (Third Shift)
Location: Omaha Nebraska

Shift: Third Shift (11:00pm - 7:00am, Monday - Friday)

Interstate Power Systems is seeking a Master Diesel Technician—a proven expert in diagnostics and engine repair to join our Omaha, NE team.   • Advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and systems
  • High-level engine and powertrain work involving all makes of Diesel engines and Allison transmissions
