This role requires expert diagnostics, deep diesel engine knowledge, and the ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision. You will handle high-skill repairs, document work clearly, and contribute to a professional shop environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior-level diesel technician experience
• Exceptional diagnostic ability with OEM software and tooling
• Deep hands-on experience with multiple diesel engines and Allison Transmission products
• Ability to work independently and confidently on non-routine failures
• Strong electrical and aftertreatment troubleshooting capability
• High standards for quality, efficiency, and accountability

Responsibilities

• Advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and systems
• High-level engine and powertrain work involving all makes of diesel engines and Allison transmissions
• Troubleshooting aftertreatment, electrical, fuel, cooling, and driveline systems
• In-frame repairs, major component replacements, and root-cause failure analysis
• Serving as a technical resource for the shop when difficult issues arise
• Delivering clean, accurate documentation and professional workmanship every time
