Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking an experienced truck technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic and related systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks, including CNG and hybrid variants.

Role involves welding/fabrication as needed, using service manuals, and mentoring junior technicians. Excellent safety standards and accuracy in paperwork are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension, brake, electrical and hydraulic system inspection and repair.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on heavy- and light-duty trucks.
• Proficiency in interpreting failure codes and repair procedures using service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs and maintenance to maximize safety and productivity.
• Communicates with managers/drivers about vehicle issues and preventive techniques.
• Completes required paperwork in a timely and concise manner.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures and maintains a clean, safe work area.
• Uses vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
