Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a data engineer focused on Production Master Data (PMD) to configure SAP and manage master data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, governance, and secure data architecture across engineering, operations, and supply chain.
The role requires experience with SAP transactions such as LSMW and MM17, plus familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP data services, ETL/ELT, and agile teams.
Qualifications
- University degree required with 5+ years of relevant PMD experience.
- U.S. citizenship required to access program data.
- Experience with Production Master Data objects: MM, BOM, DIR, routings, WCs, EHS.
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage Production Master Data (PMD) objects in SAP and related tools.
- Analyze processes to determine where system updates or new systems are needed and perform mass data updates.
- Support DT tools, e-mail, ticketing, SAP, standard work and business process automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
- Develop reusable data patterns, automation, and governance-aligned data frameworks.
- Ensure data integrity, lineage, and access auditability in production systems.
