Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Master and Reference Data Management Lead in Warren, NJ to drive MDM/RDM strategy and modernization. This hands-on leadership role shapes data governance across insurance, operations and analytics, partnering with Technology and Architecture to deliver scalable platform capabilities.

You will establish ownership, data quality, and governance controls, while driving adoption and automation across enterprise data products.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in data management, data governance, or related disciplines.
• Experience designing or implementing master/reference data management capabilities and governance.
• Experience designing or modernizing enterprise master/reference data technology capabilities.
• Understanding of data quality, metadata, lineage, reconciliation, and integration patterns.
• Ability to translate business problems into data requirements and governance controls.
• Strong stakeholder management with business leaders, data owners, and tech teams.
• Experience with cloud-based enterprise data platforms.
• Insurance or financial services data environments experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive master data management and reference data strategy, target state, roadmap, operating model and standards.
• Lead requirements for platform modernization, partner with Technology and Architecture on target architecture and adoption.
• Establish ownership boundaries, stewardship, change controls and approval workflows across data governance and technology teams.
• Create trusted records, hierarchies and governed taxonomies for priority entities and reference sets.
• Define and embed data quality, lineage, reconciliation, audit, regulatory and risk requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day master/reference data operations and report on issues, risks and dependencies.
• Increase automation and self-service while reducing manual maintenance.
• Define metrics for data quality and adoption to drive improvement.
