Job summary

Solstice is hiring a Data Management Manager in Morris Plains, NJ (Hybrid). You will lead governance, quality, mastering, cataloging, and controlled distribution of enterprise data, owning policies and daily operations to keep core data accurate and trusted across systems.

You will report to the Director of IT, AI, Analytics & Automation and coach stewards across functions to raise data literacy. The role emphasizes MDM with SAP and Reltio, data privacy, and enterprise governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information management or related field.
• 5+ years in data management with data quality, governance, and MDM.
• Proven ability to influence laterally and vertically across a complex, cross‑functional organization without relying on direct authority.
• Strong ability to grasp data user needs and the governance, quality, compliance, and stewardship practices that improve enterprise data use.

Responsibilities

• Align data management capabilities with business strategy; translate priorities into a roadmap and own intake, prioritization, and delivery.
• Evaluate and optimize data management tools and platforms to advance data capabilities and efficiency.
• Operate data quality monitoring; track KPIs and surface insights to stakeholders.
• Triage issues and partner with process owners on upstream fixes.
• Support governance, privacy, and security controls; partner on SOX, audits, and continuity for critical data assets.
• Serve as liaison between business domains and technology teams to translate data needs into clear requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, BI, and analytics teams so mastered data flows into downstream consumers.
• Own the MDM operating model across core domains with SLAs and audit trails.
• Stand up a stewardship community with clear RACI, governance forums, and definitions.
