Job summary

Precision Recruiting Solutions Group® (PRSG®) seeks a Master Data Specialist to maintain vendor, customer, pricing and item data, ensuring accurate master data across systems. You will process pricing updates, perform audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, timely updates, and strong Excel/ERP skills to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics highly preferred, or relevant work experience.
• JD Edwards experience, or other ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Enter & maintain vendor, customer, pricing and item attributes to enable proper commerce.
• Apply timely supplier & customer price updates to prevent margin erosion.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Process multiple sourcing documents for master data (price, material, vendor, customer).
• Prioritize day-to-day activities and manage time effectively.
• Perform system audits to verify master data and pricing are in sync.
• Identify streamline opportunities in master data inputs.
• Create and maintain policies, processes and SOPs.
• Collaborate with other functions to keep information current.
• Conduct root cause analyses and develop corrective actions.
• Work with multiple systems and research invoice discrepancies.
• Participate on project teams as required.
