Job summary

Hunter Douglas, a global leader in window coverings, seeks a Master Data Analyst specializing in Data Governance and SAP to strengthen enterprise master data, partnering across supply chain, product management, engineering, and IT. You will manage SAP master data, MDG workflows, data quality, and governance, train teams, maintain SOPs, and drive KPI reporting to enable launches and efficient operations.

Required: Bachelor's in a related field, 2–5 years in data governance with SAP ERP, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Master Data, Data Governance, or Data Management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Understanding of core Supply Chain or Operations processes.
• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with SAP MDG and SAP Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of Data Governance principles (data ownership, stewardship, lineage, quality, and classification).
• Exposure to process improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, HDMS).
• Experience in manufacturing or product-centric environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain SAP master data, including Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Production Versions, PIRs, Source Lists, and variant configurations.
• Ensure all master data follows established governance rules, standards, and naming conventions.
• Support new product introductions by coordinating data requirements and ensuring readiness for launches.
• Manage SAP MDG workflows, including change requests, approvals, data validations, and data quality rules.
• Partner with Data Owners to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in enhancement efforts for MDG workflows, user experience, and process automation.
• Perform regular data audits to monitor quality, completeness, and consistency.
• Identify root causes of data issues and implement sustainable improvements.
• Track and report on master data KPIs and compliance metrics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for data governance standards and SAP master data.
• Train and support functional teams on master data requirements, processes, and templates.
• Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training resources.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and collaborative Master Data Analyst specializing in Data Governance and SAP to help strengthen the integrity and reliability of our enterprise master data. In this role, you’ll partner across Supply Chain, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and IT to ensure that high‑quality master data fuels efficient operations, accurate reporting, and successful product launches.

What you’ll do

Master Data Management
