Job summary

GRAY MEDIA is seeking a Master Control Operator for our Decatur, IL facility to oversee continuous on-air broadcasts and digital subchannels. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 environment.

You will monitor feeds, perform quality checks, switch programs, and coordinate with production and engineering teams. A high school diploma is required; healthcare and retirement benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; broadcast, media, or electronics coursework is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Basic computer and troubleshooting skills; familiarity with broadcast automation, audio/video equipment, and signal monitoring is helpful.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, & holidays

Responsibilities
