Job summary

PR ACQUIREZ PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Master Control Operator to join our Centennial, CO team for a 6-month on-site assignment. You will support the on‑air operations during a major systems migration in 2026, managing playlists, and coordinating commercial and promo changes across 150+ channels.

The role requires strong broadcast knowledge, quick decision making, and excellent communication with partner production teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and related certification or an Associate's Degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements.
• Willingness to work onsite in Centennial, CO; 24x7 operation with overnight, weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support on-air operations during the division's major systems migration in 2026.
• Programming quality control, commercial rehearsals, event preparation, and shadowing on-air programming.
• Monitor on-air programming, break support, and manage playlists with SNELL Morpheus and Amagi.
• Own commercial integration and ensure flawless rolling of breaks during taped and live programming.
• Monitor 150+ channel streams for continuity and identify inconsistencies with attention to detail.
• Confirm readiness of all material for on-air playout to guarantee continuity.
• Respond quickly to on-air discrepancies as the last line of defense for internal clients and stations.
• Simulate viewer experience by checking audio, video, captions, and picture quality.
• Collaborate with Operation Supervisors and production teams to recover from on-air issues promptly.
• Communicate changes to automation playlists clearly with partner teams.

Position: Master Control Operator
Location: Centennial, CO 80122
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

• Support current on‑air operations team during the division’s major systems migration in 2026.
• This support would include, but not limited to, programming quality control, commercial rehearsals, event preparation, shadowing on‑air programming, monitoring on‑air programming, and break support for other MCO’s.
• Maintain and manipulate on‑air playlists, execute program/commercial/marketing changes, and support live‑event and contingency workflows using cutting‑edge software like SNELL Morpheus and Amagi.
• Take ownership of commercial integration, ensuring flawless rolling of commercial breaks during both taped and live programming.
• Contributing to the team which collectively monitors and maintains 150+ channel streams, ensuring continuous availability and identifying any inconsistencies with keen attention to detail.
• Guarantee the continuity of programming by meticulously confirming the readiness of every piece of material for on‑air playout.
• Act as the last line of defense for internal clients and stations, swiftly responding to any on‑air discrepancies with situational awareness and quick decision‑making skills.
• Protect our airwaves by meticulously simulating the viewer experience, constantly checking for proper audio, video, captioning, and picture quality.
• Collaborate with Operation Supervisors and work as a cohesive team to promptly recover from any on‑air discrepancies.
• Prompt and clear verbal communication with partner production teams to facilitate and execute requested changes to automation playlists.
• Perform all other duties to support the success of the Network Operations Center as assigned by manager and follow company rules and policies

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma and relevant certification or Associate's Degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience in broadcast, digital, or post production role.
• A solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements.
• Additional Job Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work in Centennial, CO- This position is fully onsite with no ability to work hybrid or work from home.
  • Must have unrestricted employment authorization to work.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be willing and available to work any shift including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of a 24x7/365 operation, with possibility of schedule changes based on business needs and priorities.
  • Must be willing and able to view all content including that considered to be mature in nature, repetitive, and potentially controversial

Desired Characteristics:

• Prior professional experience working in master control or a production control room is highly desirable, but not required.
• The ability to maintain composure and make quick decisions in high‑pressure situations.
• Ability to adapt to new and changing workflows and software implementations
• An acute attention to detail and a knack for cross‑referencing and identifying inconsistencies, coupled with the ability to anticipate and report potential issues and concerns proactively.
• Ability to multi‑task and balance numerous priorities in a deadline‑oriented environment
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience working collaboratively with others, who is always respectful and maintains a positive attitude
• A punctual, hardworking, disciplined, and dependable individual
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency or proficiency in Spanish is a definite plus
• Position will have an end date after six months, but does have the opportunity to migrate into a full‑time Master Control Operator role if one is available.
