Support current on-air operations team during the division’s major systems migration in 2026. This support would include, but not limited to, programming quality control, commercial rehearsals, event preparation, shadowing on-air programming, monitoring on-air programming, and break support for other MCO’s. Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists, execute program/commercial/marketing changes, and support live-event and contingency workflows using cutting-edge software like SNELL Morpheus and Amagi. Take ownership of commercial integration, ensuring flawless rolling of commercial breaks during both taped and live programming. Contributing to the team which collectively monitors and maintains 150+ channel streams, ensuring continuous availability and identifying any inconsistencies with keen attention to detail. Guarantee the continuity of programming by meticulously confirming the readiness of every piece of material for on-air playout. Act as the last line of defense for internal clients and stations, swiftly responding to any on-air discrepancies with situational awareness and quick decision-making skills. Protect our airwaves by meticulously simulating the viewer experience, constantly checking for proper audio, video, captioning, and picture quality. Collaborate with Operation Supervisors and work as a cohesive team to promptly recover from any on-air discrepancies. Prompt and clear verbal communication with partner production teams to facilitate and execute requested changes to automation playlists. Perform all other duties to support the success of the Network Operations Center as assigned by manager and follow company rules and policies.
A High School Diploma and relevant certification or Associate's Degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience in broadcast, digital, or post production role. A solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements. Must be willing to work in Centennial, CO- This position is fully onsite with no ability to work hybrid or work from home. Must have unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be willing and available to work any shift including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of a 24x7/365 operation, with possibility of schedule changes based on business needs and priorities. Must be willing and able to view all content including that considered to be mature in nature, repetitive, and potentially controversial.
