Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking skilled Carpenters for projects in Holden, Louisiana. You will construct, erect, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, reading blueprints and using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities include measuring and shaping materials, installing fixtures, inspecting structures, and maintaining site safety and organization. Prior experience in heavy civil construction and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in heavy civil construction.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
• Physical stamina for manual labor and lifting heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials.
• Install windows, frames, flooring, and trim; inspect and replace damaged framework.
• Coordinate with other trades and maintain a safe, organized work area.
