Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil seeks skilled carpenters for heavy civil road, bridge, and highway projects. The role involves reading blueprints, constructing and erecting formwork, and ensuring accurate concrete placement on industrial sites.

This hands-on field position emphasizes safety and adherence to project specifications on state infrastructure projects in Texas. You will fabricate and assemble wood and metal forms, prepare layouts, and work with crews to support major infrastructure development

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
• Prepare layouts and mark materials for cutting and assembly.
• Construct and install wood or metal formwork for concrete.
• Fabricate forms and fixtures to support concrete pours.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE during tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine work procedures and materials.
• Assemble and erect formwork for concrete structures.
• Fabricate, transport, and install form panels per drawings.
• Place and finish concrete in formwork as per plan.
• Maintain safety standards and cleanliness on site.
