Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Master Technician in Fort Worth, TX to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, helping build trust and loyalty with customers. The role offers a $45.00 flat rate pay with advancement potential and access to factory training and OEM certification.

You’ll work with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production, diagnose malfunctions, and conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability of vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per the repair order with efficiency and accuracy in line with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair if authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations for safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of normal technician tools not inventoried by the service department as special tools.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
