Job summary

Hire Consulting Services in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking an experienced automotive technician for a fast-growing shop. The role offers a clear path to leadership as the business expands, including potential advancement to Lead Technician, Shop Foreman, or Technical Manager.

Compensation includes $45-$55 per hour with weekly pay, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 80 hours PTO plus 72 hours paid sick time, six paid holidays, and employer-paid health insurance (50%).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
• A-Level / Master-level mechanical skills.
• Transmission experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Your own professional tools.
• ASE certifications are preferred, but proven ability matters more than certificates.

Responsibilities

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Drivability concerns.
• Transmission diagnosis, repair, and replacement.
• Engine diagnosis and major mechanical repair.
• Complex repairs other technicians may not be equipped to handle.
• General A-Level automotive repair when needed.
