Job summary

Southwest Kia, part of Lithia & Driveway, seeks an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to Lithia and manufacturer standards. You will perform repairs, road-test cars, and document outcomes while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of automotive experience, multiple ASE certifications (Master Technician preferred), and current emissions/certification licenses to service customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 ASE certifications (Master Technician preferred).
• Must have appropriate smog license or state emissions certification (as applicable).
• Automotive technician with 5+ years' experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete work per repair order with safety standards.
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of repairs.
• Record time spent on repairs per time-clock procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test results.
• Maintain organized workspace and clean stall daily.
• Ensure vehicles returned clean and ready for customer.
